El calendario festivo de China se basa principalmente en el calendario lunar. Esto hace que cada festividad coincida con un día diferente, dependiendo del año, en relación al calendario solar, que es el que principalmente seguimos en Occidente.

Es por ello, que la fiesta más conocida de China, el Año Nuevo Chino, no coincida cada año a la misma fecha de nuestro calendario.

En lo que a calendario laboral se refiere, las oficinas de las fábricas empezarán su vacaciones, si no lo han hecho ya, desde el día 2 de febrero, hasta el día 12 de febrero. Cada empresa puede variar ligeramente dichas fechas, pero en líneas generales este año será así.

Sin embargo, hay que tener en cuenta un dato muy importante. Los operarios de las fábricas por lo general, disponen de mayor número de días festivos durante esta festividad, por lo que este año se traduce en que prácticamente desde el 25 de enero hasta casi el 25 de febrero las fábricas estarán sin operarios y por lo tanto, no se podrá producir durante este período.

Esto crea, tanto antes como después de dichas fechas, un estrés por embarcar contenedores antes y después de dicho período.

A partir de este domingo día 3 de febrero, empezará un paréntesis estacional de trabajo en el que la tradición de las fiestas creará cierto período de tranquilidad laboral. No será entonces, hasta el 12 de febrero hasta que las oficinas en China puedan volver a dar respuesta a posibles peticiones de clientes, y será ya hacia el final de mes, cuando las fábricas empiecen de nuevo a trabajar a pleno rendimiento.
